Successful first advisory board meeting of INSPIRE-5Gplus
The first meeting of the INSPIRE-5Gplus advisory board took place online on 12th June. Given the busy schedules of the advisory board members, it was already a success in itself that 5 out of 6 members participated.
The advisory board is composed of highly experienced business and research experts from outside the project. The purpose of the advisory board is to provide external advice to the project. The advice of its members will help in assuring the quality and relevance of the research conducted by the project. The purpose of the online meeting was twofold: give advisory board members information about project goals and first achievements as well as get their initial feedback.
The meeting started with an introduction and project overview by Pascal Bisson from Thales, the technical manager of INSPIRE-5Gplus. This was followed by short presentations on the technical work packages and on technical achievements from the first seven months of the project.
In the ensuing questions and answers session, the advisory board members asked plenty of interesting questions that led to fruitful discussions. All participants were very satisfied with the meeting results. It is planned to have the next advisory board meeting in autumn.
Further information on the advisory board, including a list of its current members, is available on the INSPIRE-5Gplus advisory board page.
